It didn’t happen this year but once, a long time ago, my urgent request for a pellet gun got satisfied with a single-shot, bolt-action .22 long rifle. I was very gratified.
Funny, I got 500 rds of 38 special JHPs 125 grain P+s. No firearms per se, YET, but I got a gift card from Gander and am off tomorrow to go see if there is something there I want.
I got my wife a Glock 19.
She got me a Red Ryder BB Gun and I proceeded to shoot my eye out.
Completed my Glock-replacement-program by acquiring an XD .45 compact, and cleaned out my gun dealers entire supply of discontinued ss192!
Browning 12 gauge pump - slightly used, box of buck shot, box of bird shot. Just put a partridge in the freezer.

Just as I have my wife buy’s her own jewelry (after several misfires on my part trying to buy it myself early on), I get my own gun related gifts. Leaving the indoor range after pistol shooting with my daughter on the 23rd, a crate of $99 Mosin-Nagant’s caught my eye. So that was my yearly gun gift to myself :). Have to tear-down and research it, but the Lower Barrel by the receiver is stamped 1938. Looks nice next to my CMP 1903-A3(’44) and Garand(’54). I need a K98 to round out my little collection!
I don’t get to have any more firearms after the boating accident in which I lost all of mine. Ammo too.
Awesome! My first gun was a Sears Model 2T (same as a Winchester 141) bolt action .22 LR repeater I got for Christmas when I was 12 years old. I still have that rifle.

I never noticed that LaRue made a solid trigger guard. It would certainly add rigidity.
In Arizona if the state finds out you don't own any firearms, you are subject to a fine.

I asked Santa for a PMR-30 but Kel-Tec probably won’t have any till 2021, the way they work.
So I’ll just go next week and get me a FN Five-seveN!
Every year, at least two of our gifts go Boom.
This year I got the wife a K-T P11. Really nice price too. She got me a S&W Model 36, at an EXCELLENT price. Boxes of ammo weighed the stockings down.
She also got me a new hip-pack. It’s very tacti-cool with loops and pockets for everything. It so happens that the interior pocket has some velcro straps that match an old DeSantis fanny pack I have (Before I wouldn’t be caught DEAD wearing one). So I put the velcro-based holster in the new pack. Viola ! Neato EDC !

Love it, it felt great in my hand(s) from the first time I ever picked it up in the store, and I was filling it up - center mass consistently - on Christmas day.
Gonna get an extended mag and a box of 180 gr Hydra Shoks for home defense.
LOL. I knew that was coming.
Always thought someone would come up with a good partridge and pear recipe for this time of year.
