It didn’t happen this year but once, a long time ago, my urgent request for a pellet gun got satisfied with a single-shot, bolt-action .22 long rifle. I was very gratified.

My first gun was a Sears Model 2T (same as a Winchester 141) bolt action .22 LR repeater I got for Christmas when I was 12 years old. I still have that rifle.
