I saw the music version earlier Friday, then changed to the one you show. This morning, I again see the music version. Maybe depends on which server you happen to get on initial visit.

...if youre confronted with a PC liberal you know is deliberately avoiding saying Christmas by wishing you a happy holiday. That same response: and Happy Holy Day to you also, thanks.
I've never done that, but you're right. It's a great comeback. Might even help the lefty get a clue.

It's somewhat crass to celebrate the birth of a child by foreshadowing his own gruesome execution, no? Would you also ask for a gift receipt for the myrrh?

Exactly. You won’t catch me clicking onto Google; Bing is my default search engine.

Bings page is nice today. And it actually mentions in one of the blocks “Rockin’ around the Christmas tree”, with a link to an old Lawrence Welk show.

Pretty soon in those PC states you won’t be able to sing “I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas” because using the word “White” will become racist. You’ll have to use the word “Bright” instead.

Pretty stuff. He did a Christmas display for servicemen too. At a LtCol’s house.

Thanks for passing on. It seems that Google has been getting more playful with their search engine lately (for example, type "let it snow" as a search term and watch what happens). I think it's a good thing.
As for those who are perpetually offended with Google because they don't recognize every holiday in the prescribed manner, cut them some slack. Google is truly a global company that serves a worldwide customer base. So while recognizing Patriots Day (April 19), for example, is important to me because I live fairly close to where the first shots were fired in the American Revolution, I don't expect people in Malaysia or Reykjavík to get too excited about it. So when Google doesn't change their doodle to Yankee Doodle or something, I don't get all bent out of shape about it.
Remember it is a liberal trait to look for things to get offended about. I shall celebrate Christmas in my way and Google can observe Christmas however they see fit.
