I always wonder where they find writers who are THAT bad to write sci-fi shows. It seems you could round up better writers at any community college.
If Jericho had the budget that Terra Nova had, it would still be on.
It was a good show, better than whatever else is on TV. Apologies to House and a few others. Just like the Terminator series, it promised a lot, delivered some, and makes me miss good sci-fi on the free networks.
If that show had been the property of any other network but Fox, you would never have read such a review.
It’s also the same reason House will never see an Emmy.
Well, that was probably one of the worst-written reviews I’ve seen. Oh, I’ve seen some that criticize Terra Nova pretty harshly, but they usually managed to be written by someone who can, you know, actually write without oozing smugness off the page to cover up the fact that he can’t write — unless, of course, the smugness isn’t actually an act, and he thinks that that is actual writing.
Despite it’s flaws, I like it quite a bit. I also appreciate the fact that it’s quite family-friendly, when very little is on television these days, even if that means it’s sometimes corny. Yeah, CHiPs, Little House on the Prairie, and The Dukes of Hazzard were plenty corny and had flaws, too, but families could watch them together.
For once I’d like to see a tv show about a bunch of people come from the past and well, do stuff.
