I never thought about bears on the loose in NJ—until I visited my friend in Clinton, NJ. They had problems with bears visiting their outdoor deck,, and trying to haul off their big outdoor grill. They finally chained it too their deck—LOL!
Same here. I live up in the mountains of the Olympic Peninsula and bears regularly come up on our porch to sniff around the BBQ. And we had to chain it up because they would try to drag it off the porch.
