Same here. I live up in the mountains of the Olympic Peninsula and bears regularly come up on our porch to sniff around the BBQ. And we had to chain it up because they would try to drag it off the porch.

I had a bear do this to my porch door and tried to get cat food so I got some bear spray and someone advised me to pour pine sol around. I no longer put cat food on the porch and IT WORKED! He has not come back.
