Funny how the rise of Newt and the rise of Tim Tebow occured at the same time.

In both cases the pundits, experts, critics say after each performance the equivalent of “he’s not likely to repeat that performance again.”

Then they do.

That debate last night was actually thrilling television. I’m not a Newtbot, and actually thought Perry was going to be in command last August and stay there until now. The other five can’t compete.

Hee Hee, it's only funny cuz it's true...

My favorite moments:

1. “What’s the difference?” when responding to the Arab Street threats because of his remarks earlier in the week regarding Palestine.
2. “I’m a Reaganaut.” Enough said, but basically saying that Reagan defied the puindits calling USSR the “Evil Empire” and “Tear Down the Wall”.
3. “This is not amnesty.” This is the subject that is most dangerous to him, but he has the courage to address it. He is gambling that Hispanic America will respect his courage more than fear his treatment of them in the coming years.

C2K

LikePalin, Newt is already pre-disastered

There is nothign they can say about him that hasn’t been heard or answered already

That is why I wish Palin would have run and why I like new.

They could do lke the Clintons used to do, The Clintons would answer ONCE to a friendly reporter, and then any time they were asked again they would only reply “That’s old news” and move on (often, whether or not statute of limitations had run out)

There are times that Newt can be downright Churchillian.

Gingrich, an historian, has called the Palestinians an “invented people.” Nobody asks him whether Americans “invented” themselves in 1776, however.

And here we see the not so "great" fraud worshipping Politico as an arm of the Ci-cago machine showing through. The invention of the Palestinian state in the 1970's bears no resemblance whatsoever to the spirit of 1776, particularly as to the belief motivated by the establishment burden of the Church of England in disestablishment that was part of our Revolution. The so-called Palestinian people, by contrast are devoted to the mind numbing idiotic bias of killing all the Jews and forbidding all other religions save their own with its all encompassing Sharia dead end.

When 9/11 happen every conservative (and American) was ready to kill a Muzzie for Christ! Why??? Stories about Arab neighborhoods in US celebrating and clapping that the US got what she richly deserved. Most Americans know where Muslims stood on this issue and wary about them. GWB/establishment pulled all videos of burning WTC one week after it happened because it was too incendiary. Next GWB/establishment went on a ROP campaign to respin Islam. Why? Too much Saudi money in our government and establishment. Furthermore, corporate America had spent the last 20 years before 9/11 promoting a North America Union after NAFTA passed. The globalist agenda was being derailed by rising nationalism in US via war on terror. Since then Americans always knew Islam was the enemy, soldiers coming home from war knew it because they deal with these back stabbing bastards everyday. Obama may try to tap class warfare with the extreme left, Newt just tap the anti Islam feelings we as the American people justifiably have towards Arabs and Muslims. Newt is going to gain more then just Jewish votes he will also gain votes from Americans who accurately sized up the Muslims in this country as potential traitors and terrorists.

These pundits are making me sick with the Newt hyperbole.

He’s Babe Ruth. No, he’s Benjamin Franklin. No, he’s Winston Churchill.

The only person he hasn’t been compared to is Jesus Christ.

That’ll be coming next week.

“Rick, I’ll tell you what, ten thousand bucks? $10,000 bet?”

Gambling is very much prohibited in Mormon doctrine. If Mitt can’t be true to his religious oaths then how is he going to perform an oath to a temporary office?

“Let’s be candid,” Newt replies. “The only reason you didn’t become a career politician is that you lost to Ted Kennedy in 1994.

Ouch! That's going to leave a mark.

Great debate last night. I especially liked Newt's smack down of Michele. Funny thing is this was only the second debate my mom watched and when I saw her earlier the first words out of her mouth were, “ wow, that Michele sure is a witch”.

The smack down of Mittens was pretty good too. I liked that Perry did well, even though he won't get my vote. He is not a bad guy, just not ready to be president. Who knows if he ever will be. The others are just the others along with the crazy uncle.

One more thing. Last night is a prime example of why we need to lessen the grip of the lame stream media on the debates. Don't know if the Trump debate will go forward, but I hope so. We need to encourage the candidates to be seen in venues other than liberal, rabid attack venues. Could you imagine if Obama has EVER received questions as difficult and as below the belt as what Newt received last night?

Good post. Thanks.

Newt was great in that debate. When Mitt made some comment about the “Lunar” something (I did not catch exactly what), I wish Newt had (could have) taken that opportunity to just explain to Mitt, that perhaps NASA could be of help in locating Mitts terrestrial planet. (but of course, although tempting, he could not say it, then again??)
