I’m no big fan of Rick Perry, but this alleged ‘controversy’ (what? another one?) is nothing but bullsh*t.

(gasp)
And he once flew in a plane that a drug smuggler once flew in. And..... I heard he even used to go to a place called N-head Rock.
While some may get upset and offended at thse lame attempts to smear Gov. Perry, I'm glad they're trying. It makes them look stupid. And very gay, as well
This is the best they can do?

Yes, quite trivial, but it is funny that the Daily Mail ran with the story.

There is an underlying hypocrisy to the fact that the same people who claim to be for the normalization of homosexuality to always be the ones using homosexuality as a means of mocking others.
Is the comparison between jackets supposed to mean something?

Oh BS, Go to any construction site in the winter and you will see 90% of the people there with that kind of jacket. Carhart has many jackets that look like that.

But when Presidential hopeful Rick Perry donned a brown jacket and spoke to the camera for his latest campaign ad he didn't expect to be so widely mocked. Did the mocking make him Ang Lee?

Wait...
An ACTOR trying to look like a cowboy, wears a coat that a REAL cowboy wears...
And someone wants to make a point that the REAL cowboy is copying the ACTOR?
Am I getting that right?
How nuts is that?

So what? Ledger in his homo role was dressed by the costume dept of the film production company, to resemble someone who lives out west and works on a ranch. Whether you like Perry or not,,,he is dressed normally for where he lives.
Are we also supposed to stop wearing boots cause two homo actors* wore those costumes in their mockery of western masculinity?
* Sure i know, i know,, they were only “acting” and supposedly not homos. Of course,,, nevermind that Jimmy Stewart would never have kissed a man for a role, or John Wayne, or Ronald Reagan, or Clint Eastwood, or Errol Flynn, etc etc,,,

Perry has a Carhart on, Broke back has some sheepherders coat plus Perry's ad isn't anti-gay. As a matter of fact is simply states there is something wrong when you can serve openly gay in the military but not openly celebrate Christmas in school.
You gotta stoop pretty low to join this chorus.
Let's see how many people we can get on this awesome thread.

Which shows the danger of the homosexual rights movement. They will steal, corrupt and pervert more and more of our culture if allowed to do so. A jacket once considered a mans jacket can now symbolize homosexuality. Gestures, clothes, activities, etc
all that once could be considered normal for men or women can be perverted into standing for homosexuality. Thus our culture will be more and more perverted and our children will be under attack by these growing amounts of homosexual symbols used a means of mocking or intimidating them.
People had better start to call a spade a spade and fight back against the perversion of homosexuality. Homosexuality is a corruption of natural human sexuality and is a danger to any culture.

Stupidest thread of the day. Well, the day is still young. We have a few more hours to go. But, unless something even more inane comes along, this does take the cake.
Hopefully it will get pulled since garbage like this is not why I have Free Republic as my "must read" website.
