My better half and I, while we WILL NOT watch NBC for any news or information, do watch Leno’s monologue before turning off the tube for the night. Listening to Eubanks and his accomplices night after night, I have begun to wonder if they can play anything besides snatches and little riffs of one song: “STAR EYES”!
Even entering and returning from station breaks, they will start off with a riff of something else unrecognizable, and then almost invariably devolve back into some portion of that same tune. Not exactly Johnny One-Note.......but pretty much Johnny One-Tune! Makes me wonder how Eubanks got the gig. FWIW.
