Georgia leads LSU 10 to 7 at the end of the first half. LSU has no first downs and the score really should be 10-0 since the LSU player did not cross the goal line with the football.
Unfortunately, I don’t want to watch a rematch.
Bama had their chance and blew it. I prefer to see another team take a shot at LSU.
I’m a huge college football fan, and believe the current BCS system sucks. Prefer to see a play-off system. Believe it’s the only way to determine a “true” national champion. The current BCS system is based entirely on perception of a handful of people and a computer. Both are fallible.
NCAA Division 1-AA (FCS), Division II and Division III have a play-off system, which leaves no doubt as to who is the best team at the end of the season.
It’s long past time the BCS be abolished and a play-off system is instituted for Divison I football.

What was wrong with just Bowl games?
Georgia need to spend more time in the Weight room working out. Less time getting in troubles resulting in suspension.
LSU is man handling them like rag dolls.
Its high time Mark Reict is retired.
What game are you watching?
The playoffs would be a great option. Especially when you end up with teams with a loss. I just think there is so much $$$$ in the bowl set up now that no one is interested in changing it.
The heck with the game. The LSU pom pom girls are smoking hot.
SEC is clearly the best in college football.
The exact opposite, actually.
To any knowledgeable observer, the only team in the country with the slightest chance to beat LSU is Alabama.
SEC dominates. Just the last five years its been the SEC winning the big one. It will be another SEC team this year. So stop your whining and come for the BIG WIN!!
Would conference championships be used to determine which teams qualify for the playoffs? Or would a BCS-like ranking of the top eight or top sixteen teams be used? Regardless of which system is used, you'd always run into issues where some conferences are so weak that their top team gets into the playoffs (on the basis of a conference championship or a great win-loss record), while others are so strong that their second-best or third-best teams (like this year's SEC) can justifiably be considered among the top eight Division I teams.
This is where the yearly "Boise State deserves to be in the title game" argument breaks down. With all of these conferences and unbalanced schedules, it's damn near impossible to determine which teams truly deserve to play for the national title.
Okay, LSU did have another 40 plus point game. Time to go to the knee once they get the ball back. Of course I posted earlier that Les could go to the knee once they had 28-10. Georgia gave up after LSU went up 14-10.
I’ve been in favor of the Plus 1 plan...although this year it would be unnecessary since a third Alabama-LSU game would be gaudy.
(or as we say down here....tacky)
The two best teams in the country are Alabama and LSU. Regardless of whether people want to see a rematch or not, these are the two teams that should play in the Championship game.
Perdogg, you going to start a Cowboy/Sooner Thread?
I won’t be watching.
You are just attracted to the camel toes. What the heck is up with that? Every shot of those young women had multiple camels.
Yeah, I couldn’t help but notice.
I used to say that during coach John McKay's glory years at USC.....they'd have kicked the Los Angeles Rams ass.
I must admit, the Dawgs put up a very respectable first half. Seeing how Richt pulled off the difficult task of beating Florida, Auburn, and Ga Tech, do you think his job is safe?
I'm sure if you ask nicely, Santa will bring you a TV so you can watch the best two teams, that happen to be in the SEC, play for the Crown.
GEAUX TIGERS!! and GEAUX SAINTS!
Must of been bad lighting :~)
