I remember when Clarkson said that British cars of the 1970’s were better for setting on fire to keep warm than for use as modes of transportation because the communist British auto workers of the era spent more time on strike standing outside the plant around fire barrels than they did making cars.

The best thing on BBC America is Top Gear. Clarkson sometimes is a pain to be sure, he is given to saying snarky things about Americans. That said, he seems to be pro-England, and that is something seemingly rare these days. Despite all, I like to watch and I doubt if the BBC would be so stupid as to fire him.
