A source sends over this screenshot of a Google search from yesterday, with a promoted Cain ad showing up when users in Iowa search Ginger White.
Its not the first time the Cain campaign has used online and social-media advertising to its advantage. The New York Times noted the campaigns use of a promoted tweet during the initial round of sexual harassment allegations:
Not long after Politico broke the story of the harassment accusations on Oct. 30, Mr. Cains campaign took to Twitter to help rebut them

So the DSs at Politico think this is news worthy? Do any of these reporters ever do any kind of real research.
Give me a break, ‘a source’ what the heck is that. They are so friggin lazy they could not type in ‘ginger white’ in to google.com ???
They are not journalists, they are sycophants for the regime....
It's the seriousness of the charge!
What proof do you have she's NOT?
I wouldn’t consider my self anti-establishment...republican or otherwise in this election. I want Obama out of office plain and simple and his administration booted...all of them....and Cain remaining in the race is a plus for our side..win or loose.
He's fighting these women. They want him out, so he'll stay in.
What remains puzzling to me, is why isn't anyone -- Cain's campaign, media, whoever -- vetting White's story?? A 13-year affair would leave a huge paper trail of evidence. Huuuuge.
Phone records (and only recent ones at that) won't cut it. You could barely innuendo O'Reilly-type shenangigans with that, and she'd still need recordings to back it up.
No, put this woman on the spot, fisk her thoroughly, and vet her story.
Cain’s next move should be to throw in a ‘wringer’. Get some woman to make another phony sexual harassment charge. If any reporters take the bait, catch ‘em on tape spewing their partisan Barbara Striesand. Then put the tape out on YouTube and watch it go viral.
"WHITE: Well, to begin, our relationship was on and off for the last 13, 14 years. This was not a consistent love affair that went on every day for the last 14 years. So, he is correct when he made that statement. And as far as I can tell, or what I'm hearing, that is the only thing he has been correct in saying.STEPHANOPOULOS: He also says he has helped you- Excuse me. He also said he has helped you financially over the past few years. Has he given you money?
WHITE: Yes, he has.
STEPHANOPOULOS: On what occasions?
WHITE: I've received gifts and money for the last two and a half years consistently.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Did he ask for anything in return for that money?
WHITE: No. This was nothing- this was not sex for cash." -- ABC NEWS via MRC.org
Inconsistencies, inconsistencies, inconsistencies. Prove the gifts (should be easy, lady!), prove the money! Put up or shut up.
"WHITE: The truth of the matter is, when I entered into this inappropriate relationship with Mr. Cain, I was single. I was not married. Mr. Cain has been married throughout the entire relationship. And, you know, it's unfortunate. As far as any proof, which has- you know, I was watching several media shows just last night. When you enter into a private relationship that you really do not care to share with the public, you really don't enter into something like that holding on to receipts. Holding on to gifts or if there were any notes or anything like that, to come out eventually and say, "Yeah, this is what happened and here is my proof." That's absolutely something that --STEPHANOPOULOS: What was the relationship, exactly? Was it an affair? Was it fun? Was it just sex? Tell us about it." -- ibid.
Yes, that's exactly what we'd expect, Ginger, 'here is my proof...(a) here are the gifts, (b) here are the deposits of the money' -- extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!
And as usual, Stephie, you were two seconds too late cutting her off, you stuttering douchebag moron.
Yeah, after my reply I searched for the article and found two FR threads. BTW, that thread has been pulled.
Thanks for letting me know the story has changed. Not sure what to make of that.
While I haven't let this affect my donating, it obviously will affect some thinking the day after they make a big donation he'll drop out. I think that's something that obviously comes to mind in some of his supporters who want to donate, if he's staying in it until the end with the goal of doing everything he can to win. As soon as he announces he's staying in, and taking his campaign to another level with a passionate, and motivating speech the donations will start pouring in almost instantly. I think he will stay in, and I hope that is what he decides because he's my last choice, and with Gingrich having enough baggage to fall at any time, Cain could easily rise again.
This is an outright fabrication.
1) You don’t “BUY” search terms. Anybody can use them. To suggest a person from the Cain campaign had to run to Google with a big fat check before someone else did is wrong. If you want a “keyword”, to trigger your ad, you bid a small amount you are willing to pay if the keyword triggers your ad to be shown and it is actually clicked by the user.
2) This is not proof that the Cain organization is, or ever has, used the keyword “Ginger White” in their advertising. Google servers track search habits to try to give results that are interesting to the user. Matches that are based on these results are called “session-based”. If you Google “Herman Cain” you will find articles with information on “Ginger White”. If she was a Google advertiser you would probably see her ads.
This is a prime example of the drivel that passes for reporting these days.
