Would love to know more about the specific details behind the outrage. At least at first glance, $405k of private money sounds a lot better to me than $905k out of the pockets of taxpayers.

While this is certainly aggravating, I don’t think there is much of a story here. If she meets the criteria in her state for filing for and collecting unemployment insurance benefits, she has every right to do so.
