I [ExTexasRedhead], just learned that my good friend and fellow Freeper, T. L. Sink, died last Sunday.
Tom was a kind and gentle soul who shared with me his keen insight and incredible knowledge of history and the bible. Tom loved his country and was a kind man who had an incredible capacity for providing solace to others during their time of need.
His emails of condolence and support when my husband, Rich, died in June was an immense support to me during my initial days of shock and grief.
Please join me in sending your kind thoughts and prayers to his wife, Carol. Tom now walks with God and my husband, Rich.
Thanks very much, everyone.
I’m so sorry, ExTexasRedhead.
I will miss him and please tell Carole I’m praying for her and also for T.L. SINK’s sweet soul. God hold him dear.
Prayers
I hope it was a peaceful passing.
Condolences and prayers from all of us I am certain...
In some small measure, all who benefited from T.L. Sink’s character and gifts truly share in your grief.
Though they are absent from us for a while, no good thing is truly lost. We grieve, but not without hope.
It’s always sad to lose one of our FRiends, especially one who meant so much to others. Condolences to friends and family.
Deepest sympathies. Tom will be missed.
I’m so sorry for your loss as well as the loss to FR. I remember a number of interesting exchanges with Mr. Sink.
May God console all who loved him, especially his wife and other family.
Prayers.
Always hard when we lose one of the good ones.
RIP.
Please accept my condolences for TL Sink and your husband.
Fine people and two fewer conservatives.
They are in a better place.
Condolences on his passing and prayers for the family.
I’m so sorry. Prayers up.
Thanks for posting this. I was fortunate to have many good back-and-forths with T.L. SINK.
He was a good freeper and he will be missed around here, though I am certain he will be missed at home a lot more..
Rest in Peace, and may God bless your family, ExTexasRedhead.
He will be missed...
A humble Prayer...
Deepest sympathies to you and to Tom’s family. There are no words.
That's our highest standard ~ and as far as I recall he held to it.
That was November 13 ~
Condolences to both of you ladies on the loss of your soulmates. I hope you can find peace with the issues of life that you now face alone. God speed!
Very sad to read we lost another major participant at Free Republic, and a really good guy.
Prayers up for T.L.Sink, his family, and all of his friends personally, and here at Free Republic.
