Andrea True, the disco star who had such hits as 'More More More' and 'What's Your Name, What's Your Number,' died Nov. 7 in a Kingston, N.Y. hospital, the Daily Freeman reports. The Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, which handled the arrangements, announced her passing with an obituary notice. The 68-year-old's cause of death was not released. …

My husband worked one of her concerts in the UK some years ago. He recalled seeing her ‘puking her guts out’ backstage (his words) before the concert. Goodness knows WHAT she was high on.

LOL!!!!! You and me BOTH!!!! I LOVED the ‘soul’ era in the 70’s!!! Soooooo much! My fave radio station was WENN out of B’ham Alabama. In fact....it was the FIRST place I EVER heard ‘Kraftwerk (Numbers)’. Hehe! Gawd, I miss those days getting ready for school with the radio on!

My daughter's started getting ready for school with the radio on! (13) Same channel and DJ’s as when I was her age! Just different music! Every morning they play a “flashback” 80’s song and it cracks me up! She even goes to the same middle school I went to!
