WINFIELD, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Winfield woman has been arrested for having sex with a 14-year-old boy.
West Virginia State Police out of Winfield tell WSAZ.com Summer Lynn Burford, who is 34 years old, was arrested Saturday after confessing to having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old boy. Click here to find out more!
Police say the father of the victim went to pick up his son Tuesday from Ms. Burford’s home. After a small child answered the door, the victim’s father found Ms. Burford and his son inside a locked bedroom. The victim later confessed to having sexual intercourse with Burford.
Burford was taken to the Western Regional Jail. She’s been charged with six counts of sexual assault and six counts of sexual abuse.
At this time, police are not aware of any other victims.
Burford’s bond has been set at $100,000.

Fourteen years old is in no way a man, there’s no excuse whatsoever for what she did. Throw the book at her!

Lady what in hell is wrong with you? There are plenty of age young men that will ring your bell anytime you need and know what they are doing to boot.
Best of all, you stay out of jail and don’t have to register as a sex offender.
Kind of limits your job opportunities as well.
Instant pariah, just add underage boys.

I wonder why the boy was at Ms. Burford’s home...
Too much of an age difference for any type of friendship and it doesn’t appear that she has children in the right age group to be friends with the boy.
Maybe it is just me but 14 is getting a bit old for a babysitter.

14 year old boys are not pyschologically ready for sex with a similiar aged girl, what to speak of a woman old enough to be his mother. It's sick, perverted, immoral and at least for now, still illegal.

there are many single 18, 19 year old guys wondering around West Virginia day and night. She is a pretty lady. What on earth was she thinking getting mixed up with a 14 year old who started getting public hair and just started shaving ? uhh.. sick
