The parents of a six-year-old American boy charged with sexual assault after being caught "playing doctor" are suing the prosecutors.
Their lawsuit, filed last week, accuses officials in Grant County, Wisconsin, of violating their own and their son's civil rights, the Chicago Tribune reports.
They are seeking $11.6 million in damages.
The boy — who reportedly has a developmental disability — was charged with first-degree sexual assault last year.
He had been discovered playing doctor with a five-year-old girl and her brother by the girl's mother.
The lawsuit alleges the investigation was biased because the girl's father is a well-known political figure in the area.
The suit names a district attorney, a social worker and a former sheriff.
For what, malpractice??
I’m sorry, this is ridiculous. People don’t know anything anymore. Let’s put all the little children who “play doctor” in jail and then the world will be perfect.

I agree. It is normal for children to be “curious” about each other. I have heard of parents over reacting but this is off the charts. These idiot parents may have ruined this boy sexually for life.

The whole deal is to take all the meaning out of the words, “sexual assault” just as the meaning has been leached out of “rape” by the womyns’ movement.
Of COURSE this is ridiculous. It trivialized “sexual assault” on purpose. That way, when some college coach is accused of it, no one takes it seriously.

I am not a lawyer, a shrink, or child development specialist but here is the way I see it:
A 6 year old is incapable of the crime of sexual assault since he has no way to form intent, since he has no clue what it is in the first place. But that is just this layman’s opinion.
Not sure about your Herman Cain reference, but otherwise, I’m in agreement.
AFAIC, Herman Cain has been falsely accused.

The same with exposure and sex charges against college kids who pee in the backyard when the bathrooms are all taken.

Yes I mean the idiot mother who came upon the situation and did not handle it correctly. The idiot mother should have told them to stop, that this is not what “good children do” and sent the boy home. The idiot mother then should have called the boy’s mother and told her what happened and let the boy’s mother deal with it.

The only time I got to play doctor was in the 2nd grade when my friend’s 3rd grade sister showed us where she could hide a marble. There was an explosion of laughter as we high-tailed out of there grossed out.
