Okay, less than two weeks until Black Friday and I am already seeing some terrific deals, some of which I shall list below. I invite you to list your own Black Friday deals as well. Personally, I have a rather modest Black Friday goal. I just want to get a really good deal on a Lexmark 730 inkjet cartridge.
As for the electronic stuff below I am guessing you will need to get yourself a chair and wait on a line all night, something I am not prepared to do. So here are some of the really good deals I've seen:
BEST BUY:
Sharp 42″ LCD 1080p HDTV, $199.99
Dynex 24″ LCD 1080p HDTV, $79.99
WALMART:
Vizio 42 inch LED 3D TV $5.98 (this price might be a typo but that is what I saw listed)
HP All-in-One Printer $19
Compaq Presario Laptop $198
Ruger 10-22 for $169 @ Cabela’s.

I actually got this computer for FREE last year via coupons (don't ask me how). In fact using it right now.
I WILL buy an external hard drive as all my ext HD’s are full so no choice there. Was not able to bookmark it, but there is a WD 1.5 TB compact portable drive that Fry’s and walmart will sell for $75.
I prefer Cyber Mondays btw..
I heard rumors of a 6 foot T.V. being offered on Black Friday?
It’s not a Black Friday deal but next Saturday, Dollar General has $5 off $25 purchase. The coupon for this is actually the receipts you get for the rest of the week. You don’t even need to buy anything to get those receipts. Just check the trash can just outside the store to get the coupon receipts. A lot of people just toss them away. The deal is for the price BEFORE coupons. After coupons I get a lot of stuff cheap/FREE.
Any deals on hernia operations after you cart that deal away? BTW, when I was 15 I won a sales award for selling the BIGGEST rubber stamp in the history of the company to a clinic that specialized in ruptures. The eccentric doctor wanted to basically tell his life story on the rubber stamp. Thus the reason for the big size.
I’m thinking about doing Black Friday this year. They have a 55” Samsung TV that I’ve been looking at for about 1/3 off the price.
I’ve never done it before though and hopefully I can find a similar deal without bothering to stand out in the cold for hours on a holiday.
I think I heard that Wally is going to start the BF sale at midnight or even earlier? I won’t know because I won’t be there
You beat me to it! LoL!
It’s only $2,500.
For the Great Deals expect to wait on line. Somehow the idea of standing on a line all night with my gut full of turkey and trimmings just doesn’t appeal to me. My strategy will be to look for great coupon deals, not wait on a line.
More than great Black Friday deals, I am hoping for some great coupon deals soon. I haven’t seen any really outstanding Walgreens deals involving coupons in months and yet earlier this year they had great deals week after week. Publix has also been rather lame lately. Best deal they had was in early September when you got a $10 gift card for $50 in purchases. Of course, I used coupons to take almost everything off that $50 in order to score a bunch of $10 Publix gift cards.
Publix has been pretty bad for the last few weeks. They’ve got a couple of deals going on now with PQ’s combined with MQ’s, but the BOGOs have been pretty lousy.
Bi-Lo has actually been better than Publix the last few weeks.
I’ve pretty much eschewed the drug store deals for Publix, since Publix actually has their act together on STOCKING the items that they have on sale. I’d rather pay $.50 for deodorant and not have to run around like crazy than go through the hassle at the drug stores and get it for free.
Here’s hoping the ad for this week is better than the last few.
Peej, what’s the mname of that island off PR where you vaca’d a while back?
It’s also US territory, right?
