Huckabee talking about Cain

Posted on 11/05/2011 5:19:25 PM PDT by digital-olive

So, I am not a fan of Huckabee, but he nailed a defense to Cain. Comparing the anonymous allegations with Klinton and others that have actually commited violations. If anyone else watched his statements, please provide your response. It is live now.

He made some really good points and comparisons.

It was an excellent comment about the stupidity of anonymous sexual harassment charges.

I was delighted to see someone of prominence taking a shot at this. His comparisons of how the media reacted to Cain’s alleged “offences” vs. those of Bill Clinton while a sitting President, and John Edwards while a candidate (notably including lying and perjury in addition to the “act” per se) was very effective.

Just saw it now myself. I’m no fan of The Huckster at all but I have to say he made a sound argument here.

Good for Huckster, I just hope to heck that he doesn’t run again...he sucks at that. But his Huckabee Report (on the radio) is actually pretty darn good.

I saw a little bit of it. Huckabee has really improved his standing with me in general. The Huckabee today is a much stronger conservative than in 2008.

I totally agree.
