The level of help Favre gave Rodgers when Rodgers was first starting off under his wing in the NFL is well-documented. In short, there was no help. It’s part of the reason people started turning on the future Hall of Famer.

Whats important is another in a long line of dense reporters failing to understand what has been painfully obvious to everyone even remotely near the game of football for years now: Rodgers was no protégé because Favre made no effort whatsoever to be a mentor.
Rodgers LEARNED from Favre but Favre didn’t TEACH him anything, Rodgers just paid attention.
