I respect that Tebow has a belief in God, but prayer to God shouldn't be done in such a showy and public fashion:

Mat 6:5 "And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

It is one thing to mock Christianity and prayer - another to mock a Christian who makes a show for the cameras and prays ‘loudly’.

There are many Christians in the NFL of good character. Tebow is, IMHO, the one who makes the most show of it.
