Yes, I know it is the Dolphins, but he did throw two touchdowns and coverted a 2pt conversion to send it into overtime.
He was 13 for 27, 2-TDs and 0-Ints for QB rating of 91.70.
Tebow could be the modern-day version of “Don Strock” or “Frank Reich”.
We’re basically saying the same thing. I’m not saying he’s bad, it’s only one game, I know judging a team or player on one game is tradition in the NFL but I’m not into that. I think right now the pro-Tebow crowd is rushing to judgement, and using pretty big blinders to do it. By the same token as a Steeler fan I almost have to say the criticisms of Tebow could all be true (they almost all apply just as well to Big Ben) and mean absolutely nothing (like they do with Ben).
You do have to wonder how the heck Denver wound up in this mess though. How can your QB depth chart be: the guy that couldn’t take Rex Grossman’s job, the guy that couldn’t take Derek Anderson’s job, and the guy that most analysts think shouldn’t be an NFL QB? I mean sure most of the folks responsible for this have been fired, but wow.
Nobody I know of is saying, "Gee if Bradford only had the talent in St. Louis that he had at Oklahoma they you would really see something!"
In short nobody is making excused for Bradford. People should quit making excuses for Tebow.
Nobody’s making excuses, all we’re saying is give Tebow a chance.
NFL GM’s aren’t geniuses when it comes to determining who can be successful in the league, if they were, Tom Brady would have been a Number 1 pick.
