"It turns out that presidential candidate Herman Cain is personally pro-life, but legislatively pro-choice."

Are social conservatives OK with this?

He’s legislatively pro-choice? How much legislation has he passed?

No he is not.

CNN has been in trouble with social conservatives for a while, though.

Nice try, Perrywinkle. Cain addressed you sillies on his facebook today: ‘I’m 100% pro life. End of story.’

What he is saying is that as President he can’t force his beliefs onto the rest of the citizens of this country. If the Presidency allowed for waving a wand and abolishing abortion, I think Reagan would have done that. Its going to take the Supremes to overturn Roe v Wade.

If you want a Presidency that can FORCE their beliefs onto the citizens, then stop whining about Barak/Michelle Obama.

NPR is right. We'll just have to vote for Obama, I guess. That or Romney.

Where's my ballot?

Update: Herman Cain said via Twitter this afternoon: “I’m 100% pro-life. End of story.” So I guess anyone who was rationalizing his previously declared “I’m personally opposed to abortion but I don’t think the government should interfere with it” position is out of luck.

Unless “I’m 100% pro-life. End of story” isn’t the end of the story.

Mo, it's the Perrywinkles trying to divide and peel off supporters. They counted on Palin people when she decided not to run, but they all flocked to Cain. And now, they're counting on Cain supporters to run to Perry?

Precisely the reason Perry's campaign is doomed.

Aren’t we a better country if it doesn’t matter if they’re legal because they just don’t happen? Since we already know they happened when illegal the smart battle really is at hearts and minds.

“I oppose abortion, personally. I don’t like abortion. I believe life does begin at conception.”

I cannot tell you how deeply I respect the belief about life and when it begins. I’m a Catholic – raised a Catholic. I was an altar boy. Religion has been a huge part of my life, helped lead me through a war, leads me today.

“But I can’t take what is an article of faith for me and legislate it for someone who doesn’t share that article of faith, whether they be agnostic, atheist, Jew, Protestant, whatever. I can’t do that. But I can counsel people, I can talk reasonably about life and about responsibility.

Helping the commies at NPR decide whom conservatives and Tea Party folks should not vote for, eh? Let’s let media whoredom tell us how to construct and apply a purity test, so the mooselimb liar, barry soetoro can be re-elected and finish off the Republic.

Same argument the Catholic Democrats like Pelosi, Leahy, Kennedy, Biden, Mikulski, Kerry, etc., etc. use.

Do you want a President that can force his faith on you? Think real hard about who is in the WH right now before you answer that.

So glad we got all the other problems facing our country settled. Am I the only one to notice the loudest anti-abortion voices are men who can’t get pregnant? FWIW, I agree with Herman Cain.

Is Herman Cain In Trouble With Social Conservatives?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No.
Sheesh. All day long we’ve had thread after thread on a very simple answer by Mr. Cain. He is 100 percent pro-life
But these liberal butt-wipes cannot stop spinning this Piers Morgan interview.
“It turns out that presidential candidate Herman Cain is personally pro-life, but legislatively pro-choice.” This was not said or inferred by Mr. Cain. It is sheer made-up BS by libtards who want to sow seeds of discourse.
