LOL, if old dead Ben had really wanted to mess up new york he would have hit the bridge. I think the charge is currently $65.00 .

LOL, you know the myth buster made the device a couple year back, the old James bond plate had three different tags. The old boy from VA, needs to work on his device, sounds like he had a spring loaded tag than flipped down and back up. One that rotated would work.

Congratulations! You, John Q Public, have paid for a brand new bridge! But wait, there’s more! Not only do you get to pay for it, but you get to pay for the maintenance on the bridge! That money comes out of your fuel taxes, but because we can, we also spent half again as much to install a TOLL PLAZA! Now you can enjoy paying more each and every time you use the bridge! And what will we use it for? TO PAY PEOPLE TO COLLECT THE TOLLS! All this can be yours, all you gotta do is BE A SUCKER!

I’m sure you could get some agreement from somebody somewhere ~ but the fact is bridges need maintenance. Who do you propose to pay for the bridge’s upkeep?

who do you think is supposed to pay for maintaining it?
George Soros?

One that rotated would work. I'll bet that with the right effects a guy could come up with some convincing flat-screen plates.

The trucker didn't think things through.
First of all the switch should be instantaneous.
Second, you don't switch back for at least a couple of miles.

Yes, with all the advances in flat screen TV, you could probably use a TV screen and chance the numbers by changing the picture. When the fee gets high enough it becomes worth while to cheat, the government never understands this.

You can easily build a "sniffer" device to capture the broadcast ESN's of the toll transponders and simply rebroadcast one of them instead of the one from your account. You can gather transponder codes anywhere (the mall .. driving down any street ,,, parked alongside a busy roadway..) you don't have to be conspicuously near a toll facility.

If truckers were geniuses, they wouldn’t be driving trucks.
