Kiyosaki is a con artist that preys on young impressional kids and pushes them into Amway schemes with the delusions they are going to be rich. He is correct about OWS, however.

He may be correct about OWS, but he is wrong about the economy when he says the economy has moved on and is not coming back, and comparing the changes to the invention of the factory.

His analogy fits postal workers that have been made redundant by email, but it doesn’t fit the larger part of the work force, that has been laid off, not to automation, but due to the outsourcing of jobs overseas.

That should never have happened to the extent that it did. And it is reversible. That’s a direct consequence of our trade policies and record low tariffs.

Didn’t know that, but not surprised. Most household names in that context wind up making their money by tricking others in various ways.

Given that, it wouldn’t surprise me if he sees an opening here, by calling out the brats for what they are, when even most of the Republican leaders in the country refuse to.

Not sure what you mean with this post.

Last thing I read by him talked about financial responsibility and gave examples of ways people got ahead in life.

While some of the example he gave are not typical I believe most of his writings have been a net positive for society.

Are you suggesting he is a con artist because he is trying to sell a lot of books or because he focuses on things like real estate and alternative streams of income?

How much money did he con from you?

If you actually read his books, you would know that he said that you have to learn how to sell and that mlm programs often have good sales training programs. I never head him tell people that they were going to get rich doing this. It was more about gaining experience.

I.e. The rich often work for experience not the money. (the money will follow later).
