The Wyatts are your typical suburban family except they just happen to own one of the premiere firearms facilities in the world. Rich Wyatt and his wife Renee own Gunsmoke, where they buy, sell and trade guns. They -- and the one-of-a-kind and historic guns they make and sell -- are featured in the all-new series AMERICAN GUNS.

I am biased. I hang out there once in awhile. They have always treated me right. (I hid out in the backroom while the filming was going on one time LOL) Lot's of cool old milsurps and quality guns

New episode in 1/2 hour.

I have always found the place a bit snobby.

I don’t see ‘em as snobbish, but I just kind of blundered in there one day and found an error in one of their tags on a rifle they had for sale. A dangerous error if the difference between a Khyber Pass - enfields mostly - and a Chinese knockoff mauser can be called an error as both are dangerous to shoot. (rifle listed as Afghani, but had Chinese markings. not a real mauser,so who knows what the metal was like). Other than that they will dicker on milsurps and I am happy with the ones I have bought. Slow day and the workers will BS with ya.

The little Blonde looks quite hot but what’s the difference between this show and the other son of a gun show?

Not much diff, but I have actually been in there several times, and the difference between how they act in real life and on camera amuses me. (and I told one of the guys that)

now whether they will act differently if the show is a hit, who knows.

LOL If one show is successful, there will be a copycat!

“little Blonde”

Her yappy dog is friendly, but gets stepped on once in awhile.

They did good work on a few minor items I needed done. They seem bothered if you aren’t there to spend big money.

Oh boy, she looked nice far away but she just had her 1st close up and she looks about 14. So I guess if the show makes it 4 years, I'll come back when she is legal

I would say I have spent approx. $1000? in the last year over 7 rifles (one $50 1919 NRA .22 is the cheapest I bought. It is a $300 gun, if I put $300 into it haha)

I am cheap and look for bargains! All milsurps. All have been shot at the range.

Now if I could get Discovery interested in the day to day operations of a saltwater store with a maintenance department (think tanked with out the ego’s, million dollar tanks and poor fish keeping)

I’d have it made! My wife calls me a smart a$$ all the time. Might be good for tv. ya never know.

I do like the idea of them making guns out of blocks of iron though.

I learned long ago that they remove all “reality” from reality shows. Ever been to a storage locker auction???

“Ever been to a storage locker auction???”

Nope, but I imagine they are overrun by fans of the two shows now. (I do have my eye on one facility that is between a national guard base and a minimum security prison, figuring there might be something off the wall there)

Do you have a hot blonde sales woman like they do on Tanked? If you give her more than the 30 seconds per show they do on Tanked I’ll vote for your show!

Seriously, on Tanked all those fish must die within a week or two after the show ends. You can’t add all the fish at once to a new tank, you have to add them slowly over weeks to a new tank so the bacteria that breaks down their waste can establish themselves. You add fish to a new tank as fast as they do on Tanked the tank will foul quickly and the fish will die.

Yup, I have gone on and off over the past 10 years. Use to be me and 3 other guys..

Now it’s me and 400 other people with screaming kids in tow gabbing on their cell phones trying to find the value of things they see in the locker.

I still buy a few, but for every newbie that buys a unit for 1000+ bucks and gets burned there are 4 more to replace them with their life savings.

Weather does not even keep them away any more.

I prefer Sons of Guns. But I admire anyone who can make something out of a hunk of metal.
