I had the privilege of meeting Perry today! He gave a fantastic speech hitting Obama hard on jobs and energy. He was in a hurry to get to the next event but gave a few people some brief time and I was blessed to be one of them. This man is genuine, there is nothing phony about this guy, that was the first thing that really came to me. He showed more presidential action in the 45 minutes I was in the same room with him then Obama has shown in 3 years. We have ourselves a candidate we can be proud of. Oh btw, there were protesters. All 3 of them. :)
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

He is not articulate against his competitors
... and it showed over and over.
Then there is his RINO background.
He had better sound like a conservative PRONTO.
Maybe he can develop a vocation as an orator.
Unfortunately I have heard this same speech for more than 15 years from people here in Texas that know GWB and Perry. In small groups and one-on-one, they are clear, plain spoken, and really come across. Stick a microphone in front of them in an ambush type setting and it’s eer, ahh, uh.
They can raise lots of money because that is usually in small groups and one-on-one, but they die on a stage. And unfortunately, most of the sheeple will form their opinion based on the stage performance. How do you think we got zero and clintoon?
Thanks so much for posting this. ;o)
Great! Looking forward to seeing Perry in MO sometime in the future!
He does not need to be “articulate”, leave that to Obama’s teleprompter. I want to hear a conservative message with a conservative record and that is what I have seen and heard, today and in the past. Thank you for your comment.
Interesting, I’ve noticed the same thing with Perry and GWB.
Good! Let’s fight the MSM propaganda and the foolishness of
these so-called “debates”. I don’t know why he doesn’t do well
in them, stage fear or the awkwardness of the setting,
whatever, the man seems genuine, as I saw in that post debate
9 minute video linked to YouTube from here this morn (sorry,
I don’t got the link.) If we destroy Perry, we won’t get
the 9% sales tax on anchovy pizza, we’ll get Mittens, kittens!
I’ll say again, I don’t need a flowery orator, I want to see a conservative speech and record. I frankly don’t care if someone gets flustered (which he did’t) I want to hear what they’re going to do.
Great!
Glad to hear he is energetically continuing his campaign.
Hope you will be able to say in the not too distant future that you met President Perry, when he was still running for the nomination. :)
I have lived in Texas all my life. I can spot a con man, we have several running for President and it isn’t Rick Perry.

Amen, I agree. It most definitely is not stage fear, he is very comfortable on stage, he just takes longer to put his thoughts into words. I noticed today that his pauses seem to come from him trying to choose his words wisely.
That is exactly what I thought today when I walked out of there.

I am natured like Perry...I have friends who are quick and say things they’d wished they hadn’t...I am slower so I make sure I don’t do that. And I am no dumby...
Other than in a debate format, I’ve found Perry to be an effective speaker. It’s too bad he can’t seem to get it together when debating.
WONDERFUL to hear. Thank you for sharing rb. I just pray that that sincerity will be conveyed to everyone. I felt it when I listened to him on Christian radio.
Thanks again.
