I know SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many country boy Hank types who hate Obama and can’t wait to vote for someone else.

I’m talking yellow-dog-democrats, some who even voted for him last time.

Rush is right when he says Obama is landslideable...

The brouhaha prompted Williams also to start selling “Hank Jr. for President” T-shirts on his website.

Frankly Scarlett...

I’d vote for Hank before any of the present candidates.

I'm not surprised a bit by him pulling the plug with ESPN. He has a history of taking things personally and going nuclear when needed. In this case, rightfully so.

I wathed the F&F interview and it firmly reinforced what has been my thinking for quite some time: Fox is quickly sliding down the rabbit hole. Sure, they claim to take offense to the occasional lemonaide stand shutdown, but they are far from a hard-nosed news organization. I quit watching them a couple of years ago and every time I watch clips I am reminded of why. They sometimes, loosely, mock the MSM without realizing they are a part of it. F&F is goofy, slapstick, propaganda that is, at best, a bit less bitter tasting than other morning programs on the MSM networks.

Hank Williams, Jr. seems to be a chip off the old block.

No, No, Joe--Luke the Drifter (Hank Williams, Sr.)

Don't Give Us a Reason--Hank Williams, Jr.

If he had said the same exact thing about Bush four years ago, he would have been hailed as a hero by state-controlled media.

“Fox & Friends” this morning ran Saturday Night Live’s parody of their original interview with Hank Jr. Not bad but they guy they had impersonating Brian Kilmeade must weigh at least 75 pounds more than Brian.

How exactly did Fox and Friends twist his words exactly?

So let me understand this. Williams said something he probably shouldn't have on Fox and Friends, and now he blames Fox and Friends for his own error in judgment, writes a song complaining about Fox, and then goes on the View and commiserates with Whoopie and Joy Behar. And here is what he said on his blog:

Whoopi and Joy understood what I was saying," Williams mused on his blog. "After watching the clip of their show, I knew I needed to talk to them first. Who knows Whoopi may run for President and I’ll be her Vice President…now that will really stir it up!"

And why are people here defending this guy exactly?

He should just write another lyric to “Family Tradition” and call it “Liberal Tradition”.

Something like:

Why do you spend? why do you blow smoke? etc.

Come on Hank, we need you.
