I was looking at pics of Jackie Kennedy today and it appalls me that Michele Obama is compared to Jackie.
The lamestreammedia has never let up in comparing the two and Michelle Obama has none of the qualities ;photogenic or otherwise .
The picture is one of those that’s Photoshopped but true. The two ladies are Carla Bruni, the First Lady of France, and Letizia, Princess of Asturia, wife of the heir to the throne of Spain. Carla is the one in the Laboutins. Michelle was shopped in, but the proportions are accurate. Both ladies are quite lovely, but unlike Mrs Sarkozy, the princess does not have a long and colorful personal history with men.

She may or not have been a phoney. I don’t know...but look at the time in which she lived. It just wasn’t the thing to do to not support your husband.

I,too, was a grade schooler when Kennedy was in office, etc.... I agree with you. I found LIFE MAGAZINE online w/pics of Jackie through-out her years.

I think Mrs. Laura Bush was also elegant in her manners and dress; downplaying , always showing grace.
it’s my belief she opted for voluntarily inactive in lieu of disbarment; either she didn’t keep up her legal insurance or she did fail to continue with Continuing Legal Education;both most likely required of the law firm she was employed with in Chicago at the time. She ran right to Val Jarrett’s arms & Mayor Daley. Then she went on to the hospital in Chicago;both positions not requiring her to do both.
You mean besides the fact that Michele has no class.I’m shocked when I see her. NO OTHER first lady has ever dressed down so much. Remember the photo taken at target where Michele was wearing a baseball cap? Jackie wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that trash.

i agree with you- and it’s about the dignity of her position as FLOTUS. Wearing a baseball cap in public is a pure trashy statement.it’s been anything goes & was too much denigration of the position she & her weirdo hold. Anything goes, just like some people in office local/national who are caught embezzling/and/or/stealing from their employer-”Everybody doin’ it-so it’s all right” attitude.
