This comes as a complete shock to me as I’m sure it will with most of you. David Hess, an absolute icon in the genre and someone who portrayed a character known as “Krug” in Wes Craven’s Last House On The Left has always left a withstanding impression upon me. His character truly scared me to the bone as with all his characters he portrayed.

I see he was in Last House on the Left. The original. Great horror flick if you have the stomach for that stuff. RIP

I saw him in Last House On The Left. Very convincing portrayal, maybe too convincing.
The list of artists he wrote songs for is impressive.

A friend and I say the original way back when we were 16. I don’t think they cared about the R thing back then. It was, to me, the scariest movie I have ever seen. Cured me of ever watching any movies that weren’t comedy or romance.
I still think about that movie to this day. Now I’m not going to be able to sleep and it’s all your fault.
