A Big Ouch for Hairston at 3B with a ground ball going between his legs that scored two runs.
Been there, done that in the minors, though mainly at 2B. It ain't fun. Especially not fun if you have a 12 hour bus drive home after a loss.

I think all the players are getting worn out from a long tough season.

There's talk about adding another (wild card)playoff team to each league($$$$$$$).

Maybe they'd like the World Series in November(OK if you're in warmer clime's...not so much here in the north)

Things could definitely end with a whole different flavor tonight. Max Scherzer seems to preform very well in these must win games and the Tiger bats that have been absent through most of the post season seemed to start coming alive the other night in Detroit.

Having watched Leyland over the last 5 years I’ve decided that he’s a real strategy oriented guy. He’ll take an affordable loss in exchange for a must win game down the road.

Some guys just LOVE the post-season and come alive.
Of course, there’s one that plays for the Rangers, Nelson Cruz.
Championships are all about pressure and performance under same.

It doesn’t look great for los tigres, but I think they have a better chance than Brewers v. Cards at this point.

Any team that has gotten this far is the best of the best and from my point of view they all deserve to win the world series.

I like the way you think. These guys have heart. They’re playing past fatigue and injuries to greatness. They can be proud, every one of them.... except the error committers, lol.

I still wish the Tigers had Granderson back in center field. I personally think he’s the single best player the Yankees have.

Holland is starting where he finished last time he was pitching.

If he keeps this up, TX needs to remove him sooner than they did last time.
