She should have taken those kids to a military Hospital so they could see those who decided that even though they also loved their children, they understood that their duty was to our nation and the millions of people who depend on them....
Sacrificing for the country is taking care of your kids......a leader goes places where others are not sure where to go.....and I hear in Sarah's voice in the Bob and Mark show how MUCH she wanted to run....
If Sarah had entered she would have gotten $50 million dollars the first day, or more.....
Sarah should re-examine her decision and change her mind for our America...her kids will understand later.....

Then you should know you have no right to demand another do anything. Everyone should be free to make the choices they do. We need to quit looking outward. If Palin said she doesn’t want to run, then so-be it. she is free to make that choice and to deny that freedom is to deny the very principles we stand for.

The lives of the children of wounded warriors were not put at risk because of their parents’ service. The Palin children, as offspring of a controversial politician, were, and very personally, directly and viciously. Her children have sacrificed plenty already, if not in the same way as those of wounded/slain warriors.

You are comparing the decision of a single person NOT to run for president to the sacrifice of colonists during the American Revolution? Unfortunately, I think you are serious. You ought to go out and study up on the Revolution if you think there is ANY comparison.
Then I agree with an earlier poster who said she should have gotten out months ago.....she didn’t because she wanted to run and probably was giving the family time to adjust to the idea.....
This isn’t marbles, this is real life and there are indeed consequences in real life for decisions you make.....she wanted to run, we needed her to run, and I hope she comes back to the Alamo, because if she doesn’t she will NEVER have the power and strength she did....
It isn’t about her winning or losing any more, it’s about the things she can say and do that will rock the country and the Permanent political class.....some of you folks don’t realize all her power came from the fact that she MIGHT be the next president.....without that she’s just another out of work politician....I am sorry but that is the truth. I still love her, I will always support her, but unless she undoes this horrible decision, she will just fade away....
If that’s what she wants, so be it, but her children will grow up in a far different America than we did.....and it won’t be positive change....

One thing, among the many that you should consider, is that campaigns that don’t generate excitement lose. It’s not idolatry, it’s democracy. People have to get off the couch. Your ideal candidate supposedly wouldn’t accomplish that mission. How very shortsighted of you.
