The New Hot 5, American-based jazz band plays for a herd of cows in Autrans, France.
TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Humor; Music/Entertainment; Pets/Animals
KEYWORDS: cows; moo
Watch these guys play "When The Saints Go Marching In" for a herd of cows. They love it! So cute!!

The cows are like, “do you guys know any Chick Corea?”
Honestly, I am sure fellow musicians (trumpet and flute here) can appreciate the extreme fun of playing fun music - be it for cows or some old guy in a windbreaker re-positioning a clarinetist for a picture...

Cows appreciate music. They love Mozart, too. But no rap, or their milk will go sour.

That’s funny. When I worked with my uncle on his dairy farm, the cows listened to Kiss and Neil Young.

I've heard of the hot club, but never the hot five.
Here's Django Reinhardt with the Sheik of Araby. 3 min.

A cultured crew there :-). Can’t wait to hear the band break into, “Fever” or maybe even “Summertime” to smooth the mood down a bit. Maybe we’ll get a moo or two going.

haha. Yeah the beige cow is liking the high energy, but has moved away a bit to contemplate whether he prefers Miles Davis' modality in Kind of Blue versus the more complex chord progressions in his earlier work.
Vocalist, piano, guitar, and harmonica. I'd love to jam with a trumpet flute player. You in California? Fun music, kickin' it with a fellow musician--fun times :-D.

Wish I had a clip of Paul Revere & the Raiders performing a little “country jazz” from the Last Madman video.

Reminds me of the Far Side cartoon where the sheep are at a Jazz Club and one of them shouts out, “Play Some Be-Baa”

Our quartet plays the milk barn circuit. We are known as the Udder Four. We are thinking about adding another quartet that will be the Udder Band.

Metal would be bad. Soothing, harmonious music is best.
