With great effort I was able to pay my mortgage that was unfortunately sold to BoA.
Durbin told them to do and now they cannot even do it. This is a case of unintended consequences. I left Well Fargo when they started charging 15 dollars a month and went to Perk Street and would recommend that to anyone. Their customer service is awesome for online banking.
Can anyone confirm this?

This post needs to be removed. Totally false. References a “private” youtube vid that can’t be viewed and the link to http://www.SHTFplan.com/ has nothing about this issue. Googling turns up nothing but a couple of duplicate references to this same totally false story.
Needs to be reviewed.

wonder why the accompanying video wouldn’t play-—when you click on it it says This Video is private.
But it is true about something going on at B of A online, since this newest controvery. For the first and ONLY time at the ATM connected with my branch, it wouldn’t accept a check for deposit-—(had to go inside and fill out a slip)
and every time I’ve accessed my account online, it starts with a screen telling you their system is operating slowly right now, so maybe check later, or continue on and take your chances. I took my chances and it was OK.
It would be surprising if a SWAT team were called for a mere eight people showing up, presumably to withdraw their money. Don’t know what to make of this post, esp. w/o an actual video. If it gets corroborated on the radio by Hannity or Levin, then I’ll believe it.
