Let's suppose Cain wins the nomination. Do you think he's going to pal around with Palin on the campaign trail or pick her as VP?
The honest answer is "No". Cain would need independents and Palin has a lot of negatives, also, she's from Alaska, not a key state. The simple truth of the matter is Palin is no longer important as some think she is. And any candidate that latches on to her, or rather, let's Sarah latch on to them could quite possibly end up losing the independents. So, watch for the nominee to distance himself (whoever he might be) from Palin. The base would be with Cain, Palin could only drive potential voters away.
Again, if you think about this honestly, I think her time in the bright lights is coming to an end.
In full disclosure I was a big time Sarah fan, but no longer, Cain is my guy now and I'm not switching away from him.
Where’d he take you for dinner and who was playing?
Maybe after another year of this Obama economy, the women you are talking about will line up to vote for Palin.
They say Palin has “to many negatives”, but when I look at her record pre 2008, I don’t even see a damn blemish.
Actually, we didn’t need Sarah Palin to tell us abut Kay Bailey Hutchison.
The fact she thinks she did is pretty self-flattering though.
I would support Cain if Palin decides not to run. Until then he has my best wishes.
Cain is 2011’s version of Steve Forbes.
No one will pick her for VP.
You’re right about the fact there’s no geographical reason to do so, there are plenty of other fine conservatives to pick, and already being on a losing ticket once, there’s no way someone’s going to put her in the same slot again.
Yes, Sarah, the Presidency is "shackle-y." It is hard and stuff. There's stuff you gotta do. Its more than some stupid "reality show."
The fact that she even USED such a word, which is loaded with doubt in her own ability to rise to the occasion and be dedicated to the task, reveals her true character.
Sarah, you have had all the time in the world to decide whether or not the Presidency is too "shackle-y" for you.
If you don't know by now, maybe you are not cut out for the job.
but Ohioans are just as strong as Texans !
Yeah, right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes they just fall right in your lap. Thanks for noticing.
>>That is a stupid comment. Your a freeper, you can do better than that.<<
Actually it is a factual comment. It is a fact. It is inarguable.
Sorry the truth bugs you so much. ;-)
>>> Cain is 2011s version of Steve Forbes. >>>
Well they do both wear glasses. Forbe’s tan is not as impressive though.
Oh yeah. They both raised themselves up by their bootstraps. Oh wait, Forbes was born rich and Cain was not.
And they both have booming voices. Oh wait, Forbes not so much.
And they’re both charismatic orators. Oh wait, Forbes not so much.
And they’re both turn around specialists. Oh wait, Forbes took over a successful empire.
And they both used the social media and cable news and the internet brilliantly in their campaign. Oh wait, that wasn’t around when Forbes ran.
And they were both tea party favorites long before they ran for President. Oh wait, there was no tea party when Forbes ran.
Yep, you are right. Cain is certainly the Steve Forbes of 2011 /s
Glad to be of service, I have to run now to a Pubbie Committeee Meeting. I would ather eat dirt.....
I am pretty sure most of them would vote for her in the general; or at least wouldn't vote for Obama. But I don't see them voting for her in the primary. And I agree with you regarding her record. Like I said, I don't think her negatives are deserved. But they aren't going to disappear if she throws her hat in the ring like a lot of her die-hard supporters believe. We folks here are a lot more informed and have sat and thought thinks through more than most. Unfortunately, we are not the majority.
Actually Cain needs a VP with military or foreign affairs smarts so he wouldn’t be picking Palin anyway. Nice try at a diss, though. I like Cain and I like Palin and Bachmann. Those are the only conservatives with backbone who are potential winners.
You are presupposing that Cain will get the nomination. Right now it looks like a 3 way race with Mittens and Gardasil Guy. Once Palin announces, everything changes and the other candidates will be jockeying for a VP slot.
Reading some of your post to others it looks as if dirt might be an improvement.
