The American Pride Camaro was commissioned by GM in the Summer of 2010. It is a 2011 Camaro and was a top secret project. It was painted at Mountain Muscle Cars in Cosby, TN. The project took about three months from start to finish. This car was the brainchild of Scott Settlemire from GM's Show car division.

Dont believe GM had anything to do with it, it was done by a person or group that bought the Camaro I believe.
I do not believe that there are no GM employees that love America and the troops.

But that’s the point, isn’t it? You’re paying for both, but you don’t get a bite of the muffin or even a ride in the car.

I'd buy it and drive it. I had a Camaro in 1992, when they came out with the new model. I simply loved it.
I like the artwork, reason why I posted the pictures. And I do believe there are GM employees that both love America and the troops.

But then it may simply accelerate on it’s own or catch on fire from defective gas tanks and many other problems that many car manufacturers have.

Haha I think we both know the answer to that! ;)
Don’t be fooled people! Oblammo is just up to his usual tricks of stealing real American imagery to fool the weak minded among us that he and Government Motors are part of WE THE PEOPLE!

Actually, the 68 convertable was one of my favorites.
I especially liked it when they short stroked the 350 to keep the rings from melting into the cylinder walls and called it the Z.
However, they signed on with the dirtbag in the white hut, hence their product is no longer worth considering.

Setting aside the sentiment, it reminds me of something the Teutles would do—you know, on `American Chopper’?
They get a contract with, say, a razor blade company. So they tart-up a basic frame, spot-welding on some mawkish things that remind you of their sponsor’s product, and wrench on long forks, a custom gas tank, seat and maybe a sissy bar with the sponsor’s name on, then run some wires, spot-weld on some other crap. All the usual stuff.
Then they send it out for painting. They deliver it to the razor blade company like it’s the original Ten Commandments where everyone stands around and claps and looks at their watches because they know it’s nothing they’ll ever want or be able to afford, and Gillette is taking a tax write-off.
With the difference being, we didn’t pay for the razor-cycle. Give us some idea what it cost to paint this car. Whatever it was, I’m pretty sure it was probably too much.
