Not this Christie stuff again,
Christie, Ryan and Palin are not running, and the first two are not even making believe they are.
Gingrich flunks as a fiscal conservative. he is in bed with
Nancy pelosi for crying out loud on global warming.
Christy is fiscal conservative but a RINO on most other issues.
Which is why I am for Herman Cain in 2012. The country is in a bigger economic mess than most realize. We can’t have politics as usual unless we want to be another Greece/Ireland. We need someone who can think out of the box, someone who has a record of fixing large problems.
I’m glad to hear that, that’s encouraging. I realize everyone has their own candidate they like best.
What gets to me is the tearing down of some conservatives (candidates AND their supporters) just to promote their own. Some Palin followers are as bad about this as Ron Paul’s. It is not necessary! She stands on her own merits, no need to tear others down to build her up.
It was just unfathomable to me, considering what Cain has endured or accomplished in his life, that people suggest he is weak or will crack.
Cain, Bachmann, Palin, even Santorum all would be all be good conservative Presidents who I believe would shrink government, fix immigration problems and more.
I am sending Cain money i think i will get on the $20/month plan
>> “No, he is the front runner in the MSMs minds, but not for people who actually vote.” <<
.
Including The Voteful Dead?
>> “so who are these straw poll folks?” <<
.
Local committee members.
These are in many cases the people trhat we have to defeat to fix the problem, so their votes for Cain may indicate a groundswell of change coming. (mega good news for Palin)
>> “The debates have hurt Perry badly. Now Palin is looking like she is hiding from them.” <<
.
There have been no debates.
They have been Media manipulation sessions, and oppoetunities for them to gather “gotcha” bites to use to attack the GOP candidate in the General election.
Palin has again proven her wisdom and political agility by staying clear of that foolish mud wrestling.
Thank God Perry has self-destructed.
>> “All it takes is a working brain, and the will to use it.” <<

That’s just not fair!
You have no heart.
>> “sounds great...point me to the candidate pushin for it” <<

Take a look at the gardner that did the pruning in Alaska.
>> “ I am not sure if the country is wise
enough to elect this man who is the only non-politician in race.” <<
.
I dearly hope that the voters are wise enough not to elect him president!
He would be OK as VP, under Palin, but he is dead wrong on the most significant issue the next president will face: Shutting down the Fed, and restoring the constitutional authority of the House of Representatives to control all monetary issues.
We cannot survive any more Fed meddling in monitary issues. The Fed needs to be heavily regulated or abolished.
You’re obviously a “fair tax” shill.
The Fair Tax would be the undoing of small business, and anything detrimental to the creator of over 80% of our jobs will be harmful to the nation as a whole.
Fortunately, the fair tax is already dead, except in the minds of mental midgets, but it still gives me chills down my spine to hear it mentioned.
The flat tax is our reasonable hope, but it is up hill too.
Some hemmorhoid creme accused me of "using the "N" word" for saying the word "negro."
Then, in a pique of inexplicable gullibility, our Admin Mod pulled my post... as if saying "negro" is somehow unacceptable. I think the greater chance exists that the Mod was just having a bad day, or had run out of crack or something... who knows? LOL!
Anyway, I don't suffer fools well, and this crop of "anyone but Palin" straw-graspers is about to get my dander up.
Every one of the existing GOP "candidates" has now, as a result of either the debates, or their prior records in office, or their more recent piss-poor performances, demonstrated that they are NOT going to get the job done.
They have either languished in the weeds for the past six months, or have assumed a "frontrunner" position only to blow it in the debates.
Sarah has gone from a "where the heck is she?" holdout, to an absolute tactical genius for waiting as she has, in the period of a week. It's almost as if she has known something all along that we didn't. DUH!!!? No sh't, Sherlock!
LMAO!!!!
8^D
Right now, I have to agree with you.
“Youre obviously a fair tax shill.”
No. I personally have always wanted a flat tax. But why would a guy who comes from the business world and is so pro-business like Herman favor the fair tax as the ultimate only tax? I’d like to hear him explain that. People like Neal Boortz are also big advocates of it. Maybe they feel it’s the one way to get all those not paying ANY income tax to pay?
It WILL be up hill to get rid of the fed. income tax, involving Congress and then the states to repeal that amendment.
“CHRISTIE DEFENDS MUSLIM JUDGE APPOINTMENT”
My point as well, and he favors the ground zero mosque. That’s why I don’t understand Ann Coulter’s adoration of CC when she’s so often spoken out against Islam.
Herman Cain is no expert on taxes or economics, and I rarely find myself in agreement with Neal Boortz.
The “Fair Tax” is a carefully miscrafted attack on small businesses, and is about as unfair as can be for the nations jobs engine. Nothing is ever going to eliminate tax escapees, and that goal is nothing but cowardly envy.
The affect of the “fair tax” on all business would be at least as arduous as the present system. The true “Flat Tax” is what we need, and should be fighting for. The only deductions that should be allowable are legitimate expenses of operating a business, and the basic cost of feeding and clothing each individual.
“The only deductions that should be allowable are legitimate expenses of operating a business, and the basic cost of feeding and clothing each individual.”
And who’ll decide what are “legitimate expenses” and “basic cost”? Back to loopholes. Some have suggested that the only deductions should be mortgage interest and charitable contributions - period.
Someone who IS an expert in economics (although you may not like him either) is Stephen Moore of the WSJ, and he likes HC’s 999 plan. He was discussing it earlier today. It’s designed on throwing out the tax code, replaces payroll tax, corporate and personal tax, capital gains tax, estate (”death”) tax, encourages repatriation of funds without penalty, eliminates loopholes, is an alternative, minimum tax that’s supposed to save around $430 billion in filing and compliance costs.
I think the biggest key is not to add it on before doing away with current federal income tax code, but HC knows that and has talked about it before. He also thinks of his plan as an interim until we can ultimately end up with a flat tax.
Legitimate costs of doing business are no mystery. They amount to everything that is not in some way a gift.
The loop holes are almost always imaginary, amounting to political rhetoric, and nothing more. If the costs of doing business are not deductible, prices must rise to compensate. This is why the loophole rhetoric is counter productive.
The “fair tax” scammers don’t want these facts debated, because their goal matches Obama’s: Shut down small business. Anything that resembles a sales tax is a poison pill to jobs and the availability of services, and quality products, and leads to defacto serfdom for all.
