The Door is Wide Open (Palin's opportunity)
C4P ^ | 9-24-2011 | Doug Brady

Posted on 09/24/2011 4:20:05 PM PDT by ak267

After Thursday night’s debate, it’s more clear than ever that the door is more than cracked: It’s wide open. The two so-called frontrunners are both fatally flawed candidates. Mitt Romney is so utterly unmoored by anything approaching conservative convictions or, let’s face it, any convictions at all (other than his desire to be president) that it’s impossible for him to speak on an issue without contradicting the multiple positions he’s taken. Rick Perry, it’s increasingly clear, has his own issues and is simply not ready for prime time. William Kristol, after watching Thursday night’s “debate”, had one word to describe the current GOP field: “Yikes“:

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Sarah Palin was being bombarded by a bunch of frivolous lawsuits and ethics investigations in an effort to destroy her financially and politically. When she resigned as governor, she did exactly the right thing to raise the necessary cash to put an end to the bullshit.

All of the lawsuits and ethics investigations have subsequently been revealed to be bullshit.

To have remained as governor of Alaska was to remain a victim with a big V.

Her so-called incompetence in policy matters is a straw man that is simply not true. Every idiot in the federal government has listened to the advice of Harvard and Yale educated morons and the result has been to bring this country to financial ruin, virtually destroy American capitalism, create a generation of hopeless young adults who cannot find decent jobs with college degrees, destroy economic opportunity, create a national debt our descendants cannot possibly repay and create contempt for the country throughout the world.

Sarah Palin is exactly the right person at the right time in history and there is simply not a moment further to waste chasing after insiders who have been feathering their nests at the taxpayers' expense for far too long.

You would need a taste of being falsely and publicly accused of the worst kind of behavior by a vicious pack of animals and have your family threatened and slandered to high heaven to realize the class and strength of this woman.

This woman is going to be the toughest and smartest political opponent the world has ever seen.

The world is going to witness a great woman leading her country to victory not seen since the "unqualified" and "inexperienced" Queen Elizabeth I defeated the the vastly stronger Phillip II of Spain, in 1588, and sent a sizable number of ships of his "unbeatable" Spanish Armada to the bottom of the sea, saving the British Empire from a murderous Spanish invasion and bloodbath under a certain Catholic Inquisition against the Protestants of England.

The 999 is getting tremendous support from people. His FB page has been buzzing with support. I am hearing the same thing talking with people in person about Cain, which I do every day.

His plan has been scored and would cut unemployment in half. That’s why people at the debates this week clapped enthusiastically when Cain said 999, and he gets standing ovations when he talks about it in speeches.

I would rather see her throw her support to Cain. He has all the good, conservative positions, and none of the baggage (unfair as it may be).

He would also nullify the race card attack (not that they wouldn't try it anyway; they don't have anything else).

Just don’t let the others get under your skin

Well...many fall into the cult of personality around here...i’ve learned through the years to not hitch my wagon to a politican...they will disappoint you at some point..they are just humans with an enlarged ego and plenty of drive...not that some can’t be good people...you just have to realize the business they are in and keep your head about it....thanks for the reply.

“She does. and she can win. Palin/Cain 2012”

That is starting to look like a pretty good ticket to me. However, she has to run to be elected....let’s hope she does.

I wish she would make up her mind.

She made up her mind a long time ago.

To win, she has to outwit and outmaneuver the GOP ruling class, of which she is not a member.

We have plenty of conventional candidates.

If you want the same result, keep doing the same thing.

If you want a different result, you have to do something different.

CHRISTIE DEFENDS MUSLIM JUDGE APPOINTMENT:

“But it was a follow-up question on the fear of Sharia Law that set the governor off. “Sharia Law has nothing to do with this at all, it’s crazy!” he cried. “The guy is an American citizen!” He concluded that the “Sharia Law business is just crap… and I’m tried of dealing with the crazies,” adding with disgust and frustration that “it’s just unnecessary to be accusing this guy of things just because of his religious background.”

Egos are something that is in play for sure. If one can stay detached and look at each politician from a distance we’d all most likely be much better off. I try not to get too attached and prefer to stay with facts or known items. Take care and have a nice evening.

When did he say he wouldn’t shut down other forms of taxation first? My understanding is that 9-9-9 replaces the other taxes.

All of that plus the state was getting no business done as state employees had to search for records to fight the ethics charges, bogus or not. The Dem operatives nearly brought state business to a halt. Palin did what was best for Alaska. She resigned in order to free the government. Never trust anyone that won’t relinquish power for the good of the people.

It doesn’t replace the income tax. That must be repealed first. What’s to stop these taxes (especially income tax) from being raised again, or worse, the graduated income tax from being reinstated. He should be pushing the Fair Tax or the Flat Tax on his platform. To me, this 9-9-9 was a mistake. There is already a Fair tax movement that he could have joined and that is a sensible tax.

With executive experience running a state, Cain does not have that.

Herman Cain has plenty of executive experience. Godfather’s Pizza is a national chain with tons of employees. He doesn’t have experience running a state, but Sarah only has a couple of years experience at that and look at how well she did. He’ll pick that experience up in no time at all. Besides, she’ll help him.
