Thanks for the memories. We weren’t ALLOWED to be inside when it was nice out.

Our “jumbo gym” was metal and dirt. It was all connected, except for the entrance. We used to play tag on that thing, rule was you could not touch the ground, you had to climb and scramble away from who was “it”.

If you were tagged or fell to the ground, you were “it”!!!

You can still capture some of the simpler pleasures of life by taking your kids or grandkids camping. No electronic devices allowed. Just swimsuits, bikes, a ball to kick around or throw, some wood for a fire, and s’more fixins’.

The kids will find plenty of things to do and have a blast doing them. They’ll also be very tired by bedtime.
