That pic reminds me of the Davy Crockett mania and a story of entrepreneurship. It seems this dealer in war surplus had a TON of used pup tents that nobody wanted - couldn’t give the damn things away. Amid all the DC hoopla, he stenciled “Davey Crocket” [sic] on them and sold the lot out in days.
