You say, Federal government, dont give us all that money. And they dont. Federal government is US that pay taxes via 'mandates', because they do not have the nerve to call it what it is a tax increase. AND nobody from the FEDs down to the states allows anyone to OPT out of a tax/mandate. They may well NOT line US up and inject all of US, but all of US who pay taxes have NO say about what these 'gods' of government decide to fund.
Tea Party is about objecting to taxation/mandates without representation. AND that was the purpose of Governor Perry's mandate. WHO pays for insurance, insurances companies do NOT pay the increased premiums the consumers does.

“Because....
He is not....
Sarah Palin.”
That’s too bad. This isn’t the best way to launch the Palin campaign.

Ah, could it be that Perry said publicly less than a year ago he was NOT running for president. And Sarah took him at his word only to discover he had been planning a run for at least two years. Some people do NOT like to be used. But wouldn't that be vindictive on Palin's part? I don't see her that way.
Besides, how is she being used, why should it matter to Sarah whether Perry runs for President?

I have a serious problem with ponzi schemes costing over $60 trillion dollars. Anyone who has the guts to stand up to that deserves respect.

I have issues with Perry but he is much better than Mitt and Michele, that’s for sure. They are just going for cheapshots.

Why do people require her to hold a higher standard than elected politicians? Well IF you have been told I am NOT running for president, please come campaign for my reelection.... and then a few short months later a presidential run is announced..... IF she is who she says she is she is NOT going get two timed again by some ego manic male politician. It is NOT vindictive to speak out, and Perry should be wise enough to know algore politics won't sell nationally.

Like I said, I don't see her as a vindictive person. I also don't see why his announcement to run would matter to her.
To: P-Marlowe
Bloody right, and she so notified the Alaskan legistature she would when Perry mandated it with an executive order.

So, did she mandate it with an executive order Perry style, or did the lesgistaure pass such a bill risking a veto from Governor Palin? Inquiring minds want to know, for I have found nothing on it if so?

Up to you to prove it was ever mandated by Governor Palin, passed as Alaskan state law, or ever implemented by any other means than except as purely voluntarily by individuals.
The federal government also makes flood insurance available, but (unlike Obama care) individual states do not mandate you have to take out a policy.
