It was a boring lunchtime today. Half my coffee time was spoiled when FR suddenly went off the air. I really hate relying on Drudge and reading the comments sections of the articles he links to.
Still, this wasn't a bad one, as far as FR outages go.

I didn’t know FR was down, until I tried to get back on this PM. Been working outside in the yard in 100 degree heat most of the day.

Yard work? In 100 deg? Gee, you need to rehydrate and get some FR in ya!
To: Windflier
I work in a supposedly high availability environment where outages are supposed to be impossible yet they happen nonetheless. Our client pays through the nose.
Ya can’t have a 100% availability in an environment that continuously changes.
FR is generally available. I don’t know if they engineer for it I’m just curious.

Now look, no offense, but I think that’s just an inadequate explanation.
I know Laz.
And when he ‘hits it’
it causes a LOT MORE
than a ‘ripple’
in the space time continuum.
. . . it’s more like . . . the 1812 Overture; 4th of July and Hallelujah chorus all in one.
Goodness.
I wouldn’t have bothered . . . but he does have a reputation to keep up.

I pulled up old plants in the garden to get ready for the fall garden. Wife and I also gave our sheep dog a buzz and bath.

Been working outside in the yard in 100 degree heat most of the day. As someone who works in the elements for a living, I feel yer pain. Glad you missed the downtime on FR. It was more painful than enduring 100 degree weather .. LOL
