I loved the pictures of the recovery dogs, and loved the 9-11 presentation. It surprises me, just a little bit, that I still have the same reaction to memories of 9-11, now, that I had then.

Husband was active military then and we were stationed in Germany when 9-11 happened. I remember sinking to my knees in front of the TV and breaking into tears that didn’t stop for days. Both daughters were serving, also, in the AF and the Navy, and son was a merchant mariner working the ferries between CT and NY. I was so afraid for my family. I won’t forget what happened- ever.

I realize, however, that now we face danger from internal traitors as much as we do external terrorists. I won’t forget that, either.
