Hey . . . what happened to Deezer?

I've enjoyed Deezer for two or three years now. It was a site where, for a simple free registration, one could listen to unlimited music. It was a gold mind of old classic country blues. Now, having settled down in a new place (and having used it not long ago) I go back to it and find that now all you can listen to for a subscription is thirty seconds. To get what we used to have now requires the "premium" service which isn't even available in the USA yet!
Any other Deezer users out there? Anyone know what happened?

Comprehensive music sites seem to have a problem staying online.
I used to use Dizzler -- gone.
Then, LaLa -- gone.
Last.fm and
pandora.com still seem to be active.
Many online radio stations moved to other countries when the music industry got after them to pay more for their music usage.

And with the tinyshark app, you can even play your grooveshark playlists on your phone.
I LOVE it.
No downloading music, but at the same time, no dang skip limits, commercials etc. I used to love Pandora, but I don’t even use it anymore.
I am almost certain Grooveshark violates copyright law, but I don’t care. It’s awesome, and you don’t even have to download the song like the old days like p2p programs or iTunes. It’s on their servers. Of course, if the song gets deleted, it’s gone. That’s why I have a list of all my songs so I can download them on iTunes if I want a permanent copy for sure.
