OK, now that the scheduling issues have been resolved, Obama will address a Joint Session of Congress next Thursday, Sept 8th, not to mention that small segment of Americans NOT watching the opening game of he NFL season. The question before us is..who should be selected to deliver the GOP response?
Then you’d want Wisconsin’s Ron Johnson.
Brett Favre? /JK
Ryan or Rubio.
I like the way you think! I’d like to go with the Americans with pitch forks and torches at the front door of the White House....but really, a note tied to a brick that says ARE YOU KIDDING? GET LOST! just carries the moment so much better.
George W. Bush?
/kidding
Joe The Plumber.
Who should deliver the GOP response to Obama’s speech?
Hopefully someone who can refute Obama’s proposals & numbers on their feet and in a way that is easily understood by those watching. Ryan, who commands numbers detail, comes to mind or Rubio in a more general sense. Give examples of Obama failures in street sense, not tired old lofty slogans and sound bites.
Herman Cain with the Constitution in one hand and the Bible in the other! Okay that would be a bit over the top, but man would it make the liberals heads explode.
Not sure if Sen Ron Johnson from Wisconsin is a guy ready for a stage that big, but he would be great as a former businessman who ran last year because of the obama economic failure. If not him, I vote for Rubio. He has not yet done an event like this. Of course, they may want to reserve him for next years state of the union when more people are watching.
Rush would be awesome. He could mention the NFL, say he lost his commentator job when he mentioned that the press was hyping a black quarterback that they wanted to succeed. And then note that the hyping of Obama by the press is 100 times more pronounced.
Sideshow Bob .
Pick anyone. It won’t matter....because the only real response to this debacle is a few consecutive minutes of belly laughs.
Et notre socialistes? Eh tabernacle! Leurs têtes explosent!
OMG, I like the way you think also, GREAT ONE!
Oh hell yes.
Object: Then he can comment on "poor Repub behavior"...non cooperative....bad boys...ignorant..don't care....self serving....
Same act...different day....
A Simpson’s rerun.
