OK, now that the scheduling issues have been resolved, Obama will address a Joint Session of Congress next Thursday, Sept 8th, not to mention that small segment of Americans NOT watching the opening game of he NFL season. The question before us is..who should be selected to deliver the GOP response?
I don't want Boehner....that would make it seem a personal issue.
Ryan's a possibility..but he may be watching the Packers as well.
Marco Rubio would be a superb choice...if you haven't seen it..just watch his speech last week at the Reagan Library. He's a superb orator, and he will make Obama see like a 5th grade debate society participant.
SC has a few possibilities to offer. Tim Scott ( or is that TOOOOO obvious) or Nikki Haley..any doubts..just watch her speech last Saturday to RedState..the same meeting where Perry announced he's running.
Thoughts?
An unemployed person bashing Obama and his policies.
I’d just run a loop of Obama’s 2010 “jobs” presser and put some graphics on the screen pointing out that things are worse now.
Ridicule is the only way to crush a narcissist, and this clown Obama is what we used to call “all hat, no cattle” in Montana when I grew up there.
FYI...who?
I suggest either a note taped to a brick thrown through the White Hut,
Or 10,000 armed citizens on the front steps delivering the People’s response to all of Obama’s speeches.
Would a dog on a unicycle be racist?
Jindal.
Alan West
Marco Rubio.
Nikki Haley, Rubio, Ryan...someone who will kick his ass very hard.
Dick Cheney.
Dennis Miller.
My bet is that no one from Wisconsin will volunteer. Theres a PAcker game on. I would say Rubio should.
Sarah Palin, on the eve of the eve of her announcement!
Rubio would be an awesome choice. He will be the VP nominee in 2012.
LtC West
Joe Wilson.
Just make sure he ends the speech with “And that’s no lie”.
Paul Ryan!
No doubt!
El Rushbo, but the GOP doesn’t have the guts....lol.
His speech deserves to be mocked and slammed.
Roger Goodell, Brett Favre, whoever, take your pick because nobody will give a hoot anyway. Now the question is will the White Hut ask the NFL to delay the start of the game?
