SO, after much anticipation, I finally had the chance to try Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
And after hearing and reading all the hype, I was definetly...What would be the correct word?...
UNIMPRESSED!!!
What A Burger is pretty good. For me the downfall is thet are always in seedy locations. (at least in AZ)
Too bad about your girl friend. You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with cheese in France?
I hear Big Kahuna Burgers are mighty tasty.
Yeah, that’s some tasty burger...what do you wash it down with?
I agree. I was emphatically underwhelmed.
And I try to read as much as possible at lunch time. I ate at the restaurant and they blasted horrible rock music so loud I could barely concentrate.
Went there once. Not again.
I love Red Robin, though. Wow. What a deal you get there.
I love Red Robin burgers, but they are a sit down restaurant.
In-n-out is my favorite fast food burger.
I don’t like Five Guys burgers at all, but I did like their cajun fries.
Wait, you mean the Village People got back together and opened up a burger joint??? I was wondering what they had been up to...
wait...
Oh, it’s the Five GUYS Burgers...
Carry on.
I feel the same about “In and Out”......it tasted good but I like my local Hunky’s burger
>> If you ate that many, and got that big, I doubt they’d be able to fly you anywhere.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that french fries give me terrible gas.
Now about
Also, their non-Chicago hot dog is exceptional.
There can be nothing exceptional about a non-Chicago hot dog.
The equivalent in Florida:
Belonga Mick.
I’ve never had their Elk or Buffalo burger. I want to try them sometime. I’ve had Elk tenderloin in Estes Park, Co that was good. I had buffalo pot roast that was just AWESOME, in Montana.
I was thinking Red Robin, too. We don’t have many of the chains that others have mentioned here, so RR is one of the better burgers for us. They don’t cost any more than Five Guys and their steak-cut fries (bottomless) are great!
Agreed. Small worthless buns, grease and food all over your hands, .... I make better burgers on my stove top.
the only thing they have over the competition is the box of peanuts and that you are allowed to throw the shells on the floor.
Wendys, In and Out, Rally, or Sonic is way mo’betta.
What-A-Burger rocks.
Was watching Yankees/RedSox..Ortiz hit a 3 run HR..I got excited...and thus the multiple posts...BTW it’s now 5-5
You have to have tried Farmer Boys in LA right? That Farmer Burger double bacon cheeseburger with scoop of guacamole is to die for. We finally got one up here in Modesto. Only 90 minutes from my house and luckily I work in Modesto weekly. Fatburger is in the Indian Casinos up here now and is pretty tasty.
Red Robin is totally chain lame.
Sox are leading 5-5? Cool.
I miss Steak And Ales Kensington Club steak. I've got the recipe and have made it a few times. Somehow, I just remember it as better. And my friends rave about when I make mine.
