Being born a cute little girl and growing up to become a fat, ugly man is never going to be normal. This is not a bigoted statement. It’s a statement that it is simply not the way things work in nature in the vast majority of cases.
I informed my daughter who is a regular and devoted DWTS watcher that she will not be watching this season. I also told her why. It’s so nice to explain the insanity of women who have add-a-dick-to-me’s and dress like mafia men to a nine year old.

I think the best thing that could happen in this situation is for DWTS’s ratings to plummet.

Author too stupid or biased to realize that until just a few short years ago the American Psychiatric Associations classified homosexuality as a mental disorder. So he is either really stupid or is lying on purpose.

And the thing about this season is that when I said I think it could be an entertaining trainwreck, Chaz really wasn’t the first person I had in mind. Ron Artest, David Arquette and Nancy Grace were. And Ryan O’Neal had he gone through with it. Carson Kressley is such a twinkie you could deep-fry him and serve him at the fair, but he seems relatively sane.
Anyone know how to reverse the direction of that arrow?

It’ll be interesting to see what this does to the ratings. I think a lot of people will refrain from watching because of “Chaz,” but others will tune in just out of morbid curiosity. I predict that the show will treat “Chaz” with the utmost respect...calling it “he” and “him” and pairing it with a female dance partner, acting as though it is all quite normal. Due to political correctness, “Chaz” will probably do real well in the competition, but if he/she/it doesn’t, of course, the screams of homophobia will echo in the hills for a thousand years.
