I have always used a belly bag for concealed carry, but I am thinking about leather holsters now. Input sought.
That is a beautiful holster that Three Lefts provided a link for.
There is also a guy down in your neck of the woods, D.M. Bullard in Azle, Texas, who makes his holsters personally one at a time, customer by customer, and for a reasonable price.
I’ve order three Dual Carry holsters from him, I think, and one pocket holster. Never have I been anything but deeply pleased, both by his craftsmanship and his customer service.
Link is below or you can google him by name.

>> I prefer a pocket holster in the front pants pocket
I agree. I tried all the holster options. They all required too much of a lifestyle change and its hot down here in FL. I decided long ago that a .380 or J-frame .38 in the pocket is better than a full size 1911 or Glock in the car (or at the house!).
I just have to remember to pick the pocket lint out of the hammer shroud on my Airweight Bodyguard from time to time.
Thanks.
What unit is that?
Please detail, esp ammo..
Fobus paddle holster. Made in Israel!
“My concealed carry instructor said the only people who carried in fanny packs were either gay or didnt know it was 2011.”
That’s an old wives tale. It is one option among several. Certainly not generally the preferred method but better than not carrying at all. To the old fanny pack observation “he is either gay or he is packing (or both)”, the answer is so what, let the passersby guess - he’s either both or neither.
It’s not a bad thing to have an arsenal of holster options at one’s disposal.
I carry my Xd at the 4 oclock position just behind the point of my right hip. Galco IWB leather holster with a very strong and simple stainless steal belt clip. Can’t be easier or more comfortable.
With my Glock 30 (45acp double stack) I have found a simple IWB holster to be uncomfortable.
I use a Kholster and find it to be very comfortable and concealable, both with my shirt tucked and untucked. It aint pretty, but it wasn’t meant to be seen anyway. Crossbread looks like they have the same potential, but they are more expensive.
I am picking up a Sig P238 this week and would like to hear about others experience carrying them.

I was looking for the firearm ID (given that
there are so many alternatives to your (my) basic .357 revolver and 1911 ACP).
My carry is an HK P2000 .40 cal and I forget it's there.
if you live where it's hot, spend the extra $$ on the horsehide.
Another maker to look at is Simply Rugged (http://www.simplyrugged.com). As far as “fanny packs” go, there are lots of options out there that don’t look like fanny packs. Maxpedition makes some interesting stuff.
Everyone who carries needs to do so in the way that is most comfortable and works the best for him, or her, and his or her firearm.
For me, a fanny pack works really well, much better than carrying in a purse. I've been told that I "look like a tourist" with my fanny pack on. That is perfectly all right with me, since "tourists" come across as harmless.
I agree with the other poster about using it in the car, too, with the seat belt riding below the fanny pack. It keeps everything I need within reach and in no danger of flying in case of sudden stops or accidents.
Don’t use a SOB holster. If you fall it’ll really tweak your back, if not break something.
Have you thought of an appendix holster? Carries in front of the hip and conceals well.

It’s amazing how many cartridges there are. The ammo seems to be the place to start. (22LR & 12 gauge being the base that everyone should have.)
