Everyone who carries needs to do so in the way that is most comfortable and works the best for him, or her, and his or her firearm.
For me, a fanny pack works really well, much better than carrying in a purse. I've been told that I "look like a tourist" with my fanny pack on. That is perfectly all right with me, since "tourists" come across as harmless.
I agree with the other poster about using it in the car, too, with the seat belt riding below the fanny pack. It keeps everything I need within reach and in no danger of flying in case of sudden stops or accidents.
Comes with the territory.
